“Footsteps” left behind the beach
Is the beach really a safe and clean environment for the kids to play around without the parent getting worried?
Let’s Think Again… Why?
Do you know the average of marine trash has been increasing through the years by 194% as compared to 2013?
Let’s think what could be the cause behind this? ...
If we think about it, it is us human. Leaving our “footstep” behind at the beach without thinking much… BUT these actions are not only affecting us, humans but also endangering the sea creatures due to the trash left behind. As I went on to research, I was shocked to found out that there was over 300 sea turtle that is endangered due to pollution and other various reasons.
COVID-19
We all understand the uncomfortableness behind wearing the mask. But let’s be considerate by wearing our mask and after using, throw them away at the right place.
Reflection :
As I walked around the beach, I saw numerous litters around. There were quite a number of plastic bags which I thought could be have been reduced if we were more considerate by just throwing into the bins instead of the beach.
As well as the public takes it for granted that the cleaners would clean up after them.
While walking along the beach, I came across this guy who seemed to be cleaning up litters he saw that is floating by the beach.
This reminded me that small action of us cleaning after ourselves could lead to a big result.
I also learnt that we should be respectful towards one another by cleaning up after ourselves, making it a safer and cleaner environment for all of us to enjoy with our love ones.
